I Wanted To Be a Bond Girl

first, I don’t remember when exactly i wrote this n why i kept it in unpublished folder
second,as the last Bond movie’s gone for months, I’ve tried to recall who’s the bond girl name ( couldn’t remember. but don’t bother to browse in imdb),and can’t help thinking why those character is easily forgotten
Since I was young I always wanted to be a Bond girl. Went to Harvard, know how to kick ass, and look smashing as always, and of course have a great sense of art and music, and a great sense of humor. The thing is , actually those Bond girls die sooner than the others (he… he.. he..), not to mention that most of the time they are lonely too. Not much guy dare to pick them up, and not much guy amuses them too.
I used to want that much for my self coz, I’ve always imagined that THERE IS that guy, out there, I used to call whoever he might be my “James Bond”. The one so perfect, so unreachable, and he would only go for the best which is Bond girl. So that was what I was trying to be.
But then it’s not long before I finally hit the reality: that James Bonds don’t exist. Even if it does it’s only gonna be in those heads of ego-narscistic-megalomaniac-phallocentric-alpha male men that just don’t go out much. That’s the main reason why they developed such delusional idea that they could real life James Bond, simply be cause they didn’t have anybody to slap them in the face to tell ‘em that they’re not. In reality they are just those people with most of the time have nothing to do so they could spend most of their time in front of a mirror and embrace themselves.
In reality, I learnt that even the most successful men wouldn’t go for the perfect girl. They would go for the mediocre, the less successful girl, the less attractive girl. Maybe it’s just to ensure them with security that this one would need them and stand by them for as long as they live, even though if they’re being an asshole most of the time.
Now that really surprises me. The fact that those Bond-alpha-type-man cannot compete. Those men are suddenly smaller than I think! I know that mom had always talked about to respect men and to play dumb around them, but I never realize that it’s gonna be this extreme.
But, again, this is one of my extreme thoughts, and I admit I tend to exaggerate things hahaha

Bond isn’t perfect. He lost his sweetheart, and play around with another woman in return for his broken heart. Haha.
I’ve never been comfort enough to have this kind of perfect man - since i know my existence is just a matter of his security, for him to feel he’s adorable.

i’m used to be a hell of a (james bond) fan ..LOL but just a fan for his breath-taking movies. I am not looking for his image in real life since he’s just a character in those actions and would never be real. But i’ve never realized that such character does exist perhaps in a less dramatic way until you wrote it here :) …. well, it’s not that i’m underestimating such “james bond” type or anything worse.. it’s just that .. ummm.. i think they’re too perfect to be true… so maybe.. they would be wearing a permanent mask for all of their lives (it’s just a personal opinion from me yaaaa)

Actually, become a bond girl is a dream of every woman in the world. Eventhough there are a lot problems to solve, but it’ll make everybody else so proud. Isn’t it? Definitely, i’ll always support you to become a bond girl one day, sist. I do. Hope you’ll accept it. Thank you. =)

I prefer the last Bond girl, which was played by Olga Kurylenko (I can’t remember the character’s name either) to any other Bond girls. She was tougher, and the best thing was…she didn’t sleep with Bond.
Or does every Bond girl have to sleep with Bond?
Anyway, I’m glad you’re finally posting something hehehe. I don’t like Bond though, in the way that he makes the girls look stupid. How about ‘I always want to be a girl who can make Bond looks stupid and finally surrenders’? hehehe…

Be a bond girl will be great only in movie, i mean as an actress. Bond represent many many mature man ‘want to’. That is man perspective movie, main subject that last 4ever. In reality or just a movie, its never be a ‘happy ever after’ for being a bond girl. Is there any movie in opposite perspective? A Dian Sastro boy r such? (^_*)

did james bond ever pick his true love? i dont think so..
he meet most of his “bond girls” cause it was part of the mission that he was tryin to accomplished which is to “save the world”.
everything happen to him by chances.
which is in reality,
i think every man would like to become james bond in their own world and i think every women would like to become bond girl in their own world. so if things are happen by chances while they are trying achieve their goals (but not saving the world from destructions, of course) they will meet their own “james bond or bond girl” therefore there is nothing wrong to if u wanted to become a bond girl soon enough u will find your own james bond”
or maybe u will be the first bond girl in a movie, that would be great eh ? hehehehe

lepas dari cerita si jimbong,btw,laki2 sempurna yah ga pernah ada jeng,seperti halnya manusia yg sempurna dan baik abis seperti kata kitab2 dan dongeng2,karena sehebat2nya seorang lanang yang punya “kepala dua” tetep aja masih butuh yg “bibirnya dua” supaya jangkep.Dan sesempurna2nya manusia yg diceritakan dalam dongeng,masih tetep sekedar makhluk ciptaan serba lemah,kalo ga makan laper,ga tidur ngantuk,masih bisa terasa kecewa,dan masih membutuhkan makan dari anasir bumi ini, karenanya kalo jatuh kembali ke bumi dan kalo mati yah marani bumi, ,oleh sebab itu tentunya ga akan lepas dari kesalahan.Kesalahan itu wajar dan manusiawi,tapi kalo terus2san salah,ga pernah belajar dari salahnya sendiri,itu namanya kurang ajar,hewani.
N Ga ada itu lelananging jagad kecuali di dongeng2 doang sama cerita wayang.Wayang itu artinya bayangan/maya yaitu gambaran angan2 manusia buat menceritakan ttg hidup,jadi yah ga nyata,karena yg nyata itu diri kita2 ini,dengan segala macam keburukkan dan kesalahannya,problem hidupnya dan juga disertai sedikit watak utama dan dahaga kerinduan akan kebaikan dan kebenaran.Dan itu yg sesungguhnya yg nyata2 ada dan semestinya dikenal.Bukan dongeng cerita dari masa lalu mengenai sosok manusia yg disebut sempurna.

soal wanted to be a bond girl bisa dikata sbg keinginan yg aneh tuh,
gua malah waktu kecil pengen jadi pertapa di gunung2 sana gara2 kepengaruh kitab2 jawa kuno,sebagai bahan bacaan sebelum bobo pas kecil sebagai hiburan ketika masih tinggal di negeri sebrang samudera sono dulu (buku dan kitab emang salah satu bentuk jajahan yg paling sadis)……
tapi sekalipun gitu,ga pernah tuh jadinya pengen malah ngegamparin orang sih,kaya dian yg begitu sadar bahwa cita2nya aneh,malah jadi pengen nampolin cowo hehehe……..galak amat boss..
But mungkin emang lebih aneh cita2 gua daripada cita2 si dian yg cuma sekedar pengen jadi “a bond girl”……

De Dian tidak ingat tepatnya mau jadi Bond Girl ya? Sekedar mengingatkan, itu ada di web thejakartapost. Coba aja dicek lagi De. Pasti ketemu. Minimal mengingatkan tentang titik terang sejak kapan ingin menjadi Bond Girl.
Kalo memang di kehidupan nyata/realitanya ingin menjadi Bond Girl ya solusinya harus punya rekan, boy friend seorang detective/research/intelegent, ya semacam orang yang berprofesi membasmi/menumpas kejahatan gitu dweeh.
